Pup feeding progression

Has anyone else had pups that don't really like bloodworm?

Day 2. Fed with bloodworm and little was taken.
Day 3. The same with little interest.
Day 4. Tried a little PE Mysis with the boodworm and the mysis was taken aggressively and bloodworm ignored.
Day 5. Same as 4 but more mysis. No bloodworm eaten. Took a little chopped earth worm.
Day 6. Tried a little choppen frozen prawn. Prawn taken more aggressively than the mysis but both eaten. Have given up with bloodworm altogether.

When I got the parents as pups I had to work hard at getting them off bloodworm, now I have a pup that wont eat it.

Do many people have pups that feed like this?

I have had rays that never touched blood worms. Might try and see if you can find blackworms anywere.
Its a hit or miss when it comes to blood worms in my opinion. But like I said, Ive got rays that to this day, from pups to adults that will not eat them.

Pups you can pretty much get eating what you want them to right away. I fed mine bits of shrimp right away.

my pups never took bloodworms or mysis shrimp readily. they loved blackworms and nightcrawlers though

I just start on earthworms.

couldnt get my new ray to eat until earthworms tonight. Huray earthworms.

I always start my pups off on blackworms and move them onto nightcrawlers when they are big enough to eat them whole, around 5" usually. I hate chopping nightcrawlers for them. Never tried bloodworms, but they always eat blackworms for me after 3-4 days max.

I would try nightcrawlers chopped up or small pieces of shrimp...

If they are eating shrimp, earth worms, and mysid I wouldn't even bother with the bloodworms.

I'm not. I just found it odd that it didn't take to them is all.

Its mysis, prawn and earth worm for now then pellets later also.
