Had two felmae matoro pups december 31st.
Have been giving them blackworms since day 3.
Noticed they (one really) are not eating very well. Starting to show signs of weight loss.

Water readings are fine. Also doing water changes every 4 days since the pup tank feeds off the main ray tank. (wanted to keep them in the same water for awhile) Might be time to put them in there own system)

Any ideas...

Ive tried ghost shrimp a few weeks ago. Wanted then to get use to chasing foods. They didnt really go after them.
Ill try the divider. Just seems weird that this one will not eat blackworms.

I think I may move them into their own system. Since they are filtering off the main tank, might do better on their own water system.
My ammonia levels are "0" but should prob make sure that their water is 100% perfect as they are still babies..

Why not try other foods? Like finely chopped prawns.
I got 2 p13xp14 pups at 17 days old.
They were eating pellets and bloodworm 1 day after birth.
They'll get hooked on live otherwise.

I've had bad luck keeping pups on parent tank water. My first batch of pups took me loosing 3 to move the 4th. After the move she recovered fine.
It seems like there's fluctuations in adult ray tanks that seem to mess with pups. Since then I've always put them in a seperate system and haven't had similar troubles since.

Can you seed a HOB or canister with bio from the parent's system then seperate them?

Yes I can seed a filter with the parents system and seperate them. I already have several tanks set up I can put them in.

I would give them their own tank, bump the tempeture up to 82-84 F,keep it dimly lit and continue feeding black worms, blood worms or chopped earth worms.

Agreed with above - there may be too much fluctuations in the water quality of the parent tank. I've had a few litters and each time one ray seemed to be slow eating. I kept feeding them black worms and eventually the pup gained its appetite. If it doesn't eat and dies, it could be either it was a weak pup or has something wrong with it.
