Hi everyone just wondering if any of you could give me an idea if this is a short body convict or a blood parrotfish? He was about the size of a dime and dark green with stripes as a baby and turned this color the past couple months. His fins have a blue green hue. Mouth closes completely. Thank you

this is what's known as a "blood parrot", which is neither a Parrot Cichlid (Hoplarchus Psittacus) or a Convict Cichlid
A blood parrot is a man-made hybrid. While the Hoplarchus Psittacus is a South American Cichlid, and the Amatitliana Nigrofasciata is a Central American Ciclhid
