Can anyone share experiences with purchasing fish from either Villas City of Angelfish and/or Angels Plus? Or, are there any other sellers out there I should be looking at? Thanks.

What kind of angels? If domestic stuff email mikegibbs@newwavecomm.net he is a private breeder with great stock and easy to deal with.
I'm thinking of getting some angelfish from Beckie bassaham, although carol Francis has beautiful fish as well

I bought some Altums from Villas city of angelfish a couple of years ago I had no trouble with the transaction or the fish.

I was disappointed with Angelmania. I ended up with a lot of culls that I paid good money for. His website says he culls aggressively but things like missing dorsal rays, short/deformed pelvic fins, and short gill plates that are noticeable to me right out of the bag are inexcusable. Several people defended him, saying the fish were too small for him to catch those things, but I noticed the defects before the fish even went in the tank. I placed a second order, hoping it was a fluke, and got more culls in the second order than the first.

I've heard nothing but as about Angelmania too. Look around at angelfish breeders.org they have some emails of breeders. I'm personally going to get fish from either Carol Francis or Beckie Basshman. Their fish are amazing plus their blues and fins are intense.
Although different breeders are known for different varieties, so if you're looking for koi or something you may have to look elsewhere.
