Was wondering anyone feed the trout chow to their fishes? Thinking about buying a 50 pound bag for about $35 bucks. Might last a year or so, feeding this.

I'd go with Purina Aquamax instead, I've used it with no issues...don't know if the ingredients are too different for tropical fish use in the trout chow
Where did you buy yours from? All the feed places near where I live dont sell it. Only way I can buy it is through the mail.
wow! never knew purina made aqua foods. can u tell us the ingredients. I would check the ingredients for lots of fillers.

Yea click on the product section. Also regular tropical fish flakes have about 45% protein, 10% fat and 4% fiber so you can compare and it is almost the same thing depending on the product.

I use trout chow as a filler for my "big fish mix", mixed with krill, Jumbomin and other big pellets.
I used to feed it to my pacu, giant gourami and silver dollars back in the 90's when I went through a huge fish phase.
good stuff. fish grow very well on it if they are large enough to eat it.
