Purple Algea

if its purple on your live rock then its ok unless you don't like it but its naturally occuring. if its on the glass scrub it down it won't hurt your ecosystem to get rid of it on your glass. most people like the purple color helps to spice up the already colorful tank. check out myteemouse and his tank update his lr is pretty purple

Some snales can they have "rasp" like tongues that litteraly scrape the surface, but they get HUGE and eat all corals, if you dont like the Purple I really dont think there is anything you can do but scrape it off regularaly. As there is just about nothing you can put in a tank that size that will eat it.

Very possible, if it is a purple slime then thats a different story.

Sea Urchins right... now I feel stupid haha, completely forgot about them , though now that I remember, I remember decideding not to get them just because they ate coraline algea haha. Though I did say there wasn't many things that would fit in a tank this size, as most urchins need 20+gal to thrive (not enough coraline growth in smaller to sustain them), so I was still sorta right haha. Though I suppose one of the smaller ones, like a pincushion mite be ok.
