Purple color on my driftwood??

Hey so on one of my driftwood pieces i have noticed some purple on it. Any clue what this is and is it fish tanksafe? The driftwood has been in the tank for over a year.

Did any of your fish went for makeup shopping at MAC lately ? Lol
I am guessing its kind of enzyme reaction as a result of wood reacting with water.

I have had certain wood pieces get a purplish tinge(sorry don't know types), especially when they were first put in the tank. They usually fade after a while. The one below, was almost as purple as yours, but faded.

yes I seen this on a peice I had years ago ---harmless
