My Driftwood is starting to turn purple. The wood was hand picked from Colorado river last year and just started turning purple over the month. Any idea what happing? I dont see any of my fish eating it or anything. No water problem too.

It is defective. Send it to me for proper disposal. :grinno:

It sounds like you might have something special there. Is it streaky like cedar or is it turning a uniform color? Look around for rocks that will coordinate/contrast with the drift wood. Granite comes in various colors and shades. You could have a really cool looking tank.

nope, i cant even take it off with my nail. An today i just notice the back side of it is purple too :) I had this happen to be before with a rock... It turned Blue but i have no idea if it was from the med i had in the water.
