Hey everyone! How's it going? I'm doing all right. So my roommate has a breeding family of Purple Frontosas and guess who gets to have first pick of the babies? I'm so excited! I've got a 92g tank all ready to go for them. My only problem is I don't know whether to use sand with some assorted bigger rocks, or do I use normal fish tank gravel? The reason I ask is I've heard both ways are best. I want to know what other Frontosa owners use. I'd really like to use sand cause I like how bright it makes the tank, plus I believe the purple fronts will look so good...Thanx for the help..

please use sand. theres Pool Filter Sand and theres fine sand. if you choose pfs then you might have to go through a lot of precleaning. if you choose fine sand it might cloud up your tank if you choose the wrong kind.
normal substrate is the worst thing you could do to a tanks looks. but its the easiest to clean. dont be lazy.
