Purple Red Arowana

This is a question that I have had and not asked for quite a while. What is a Purple Red Arowana? Are they bred their purple color or are they given hormones or injected with color? Do the farms that produce these sell outside South East Asia like to Canada etc. I have a picture of one on one of my Arowana posters that I have got framed and I have only seem images of them from one or two farm websites. Are they only produce from a couple farms?
 
i think its from a xian leng poster right? the 1 with banjar red? if it is then the coloration is wrong,if you mean purple red then VFSR which has purple in da base color then idk
 
The poster is back in Davis, and the Purple Red Arowana that I have seen is red as a base color and toward the back of the scales have got the purple color.

What is VSFR and idk?
 
VFSR=Violet Fusion Super Red
what was the poster's name theres no such purple arowana unless dyed
 
Cool that explains the purple. They are not from unbelievable captive breeding. The poster is back in Davis I should have the name of by next weekend.
