It is still small as the look have not mature yet. It is with my RTC and sucker. Love to eat small frog. But one of the scale got damage... still wondering when can heal.

is it in the 2' tank? if it is, YOU NEED A BIGGER TANK. get a tank over 75 gals.for the gourami and get a pond for the rtc (or tank that is HUGE.)

these giant gouramis(GG)

will grow some very nasty looking lump on the head when they grow old
but have seen very beautiful adult GG specimens ard 1.5' had very intense purplish-grey colour and contrasting red edged tail and fins

2' for these GG is definitely too small

Nice fish! Thinking of getting one myself, probably a 2-3" one. Have a 2' as well but will use it as a growout and upgrade as it gets bigger. But all this, IF i get myself a gg to begin with.
