I have a cherry shrimp tank, and I was wondering if I could add this gudgeon to my tank I think hed look great in this planted aquarium

Agreed, honestly the best way to keep/breed shrimp and other crustaceans is to have them in a "species only tank" as many fish with either prey on them or vise versa. I know it can be a lil boring and bland but that's sadly how it goes more often then not.
