i dont know about anyone else but colwellsoddballs tank blows my mind. i have read several forums of people getting turned down for trying to sandwich pieces of acrylic/lexan together and i myself have been turned down for trying to make a 4ft. tall tank with a sheet of 3/4'' acrylic. Heres the deal? Acrylic is 14 times stronger than glass! so it should handle more. Why cant anyone explain this? If you have enough supports on the front wall, there is no way for the glass to not hold. Yes this will not work for acrylic only tanks, but i think we need a new calculator for plywood builds. Is he really the only one to do this? opinions please
