I've always been on the side of down playing bichir aggression/predation. I'm not saying it can't happen but I believe it's been over rated and not really happening as much as people think.

Last night (for the second time) the wolf beat up on the little bufonius cat. This time was far worse than the 1st. Today being the wife's bday and worried that if I kept the two in the same tank the cat wouldn't make it through it the night so I threw her (wolf) in the 300. The cat is our priority.

The Polys completely avoided it. She got beat up running from the net. Endli swam around snapping/clicking her jaw for a couple of seconds but that was it. Cichlids and cats completely avoided it.

I'm a little worried that the wolf may snap at one of the cats. If so she's gone.

Lol daughter was yelling at the pearsei and asking some questions I'm not ready to talk about lmao.

Wolf's a little under 6 inches Polys are between 14 and 18/19

The kids are so cute calling their fish. Nice tank and super clean water. If the wolf get attack by the bichirs then it would be during the night. That’s when bichirs are most active. Wolf are unpredictable sometimes.

Introduced a purple wolf about the same size was also ignored until it gained size and would flare up at a dominant female ornate. Nothing physical ever became an issue and sometimes the wolf and would lay side by side lol.

Little girl seems fine. Polys haven't shown any interest.

Infact she seems allot less nervous, actually swimming around and laying out in the open. Tank doesn't have a ton of hides but does have some jag cat spaces she could hide out in and hasn't.

We need a board with squares on how long it lasts. It looks so dangerously close to a feeder in the pics I see.

That's an awesome mix and it's putting on some killer colors. I really hope it all works out.
