putting RES into Dempsey tank

i got two baby RES and was wondering if i cold put them in my 55 with my 6-7 inch Dempsey or would he eat/kill them

They might harass him at this size but when they get bigger probably kill him

If it doesn't eat them it will pretty much treat them like toys.
Constant harrasment is what I foresee.
