Planning to replumb my aquarium with 1.5" Sch 40 pvc with 1.5" PVC DWV fittings because of sweeping angles of the elbows. But I've read that PVC DWV is for unpressurized applications.....

1. Is it ok to use PVC DWV for my overflow since it is simply gravity driven? Probably get 1200-1400 gph.

2. Is it ok to use PVC DWV for plumbing my return?
Using a Jebao 15000 DCT adjustable flow pump to match overflow. (Max output of pump 3962 gph

Thanks!

It will hold.
An under the sink trap, for a siphon tube ? The only thing that might give you problems is the compression washers. If the pipes are not lined up with each other.
As if you need both hands to pull the pipes for a line up, in order to get the jam nut threaded.

+1, there should be no issues using that. In fact, I even use 90* and in my secondary stand-pipe and return with no issues. Technically it does slow the flow, but that's not a concern for me given the pump I use.

Thanks. I realized from the markings that the Home Depot PVC pipes are also NSF DWV.
