These conduit fittings seem like the perfect answer to what I've been looking for to go from my bottom drilled tank into my sump, a gentle sweeping angle, instead of the typical PVC hard 90 deg elbows.

However there seems to be some concern that their not approved (potable for drinking water), but then I see people using them all the time for homemade bulkhead fittings.

Should I be worried, or am I over thinking this? I'd like to finish my plumbing this weekend, but need your input / experiences here.

Thanks
Ed

I would think that there would be no problems however I cant say that from experience.

You can get other angles in plumbing pipe other than right angles.

I've been using it for what seems like forever, never a problem, no traces have ever shown up in lab water tests.

Now if you run Hot water thru it all bets are off.:D

I've used that stuff for my system and it works great. I use those wide elbows on my return lines and the flow is better than regular elbows. The best thing is that this stuff is really cheap at Home Depot.

Excellent, that 's what I was hoping, thanks everyone.

When I get farther along I'll try and post some pics in return (as most of this project has come from things I've seen on this site).
