pvc pipe transformed

Ok here goes I took a pvc pipe sanded it down and spray-painted with rust-oleum american accents stone spray paint and then i clear coated it with rust-oleum Crystal Clear Enamel. Two questions first one is it safe for my aquarium after being spray painted, and second what do you guys think of it .

i like it! looks like a rusty old pipe! dont know if its safe though, someone will know.

Yep, looks like a bronze/brass sewer fitting. I like the idea of the faux finishes; there are endless possibilities for fish tank stuff.

I wonder how a stone finish would look on a length of pipe (nice eel or knife home).

After the paint has cured (no more chemical smell) it will be tank safe. However, the paint may not be suitable for underwater use. The only way to find out is to toss it in.
