PVC pipe Vs Rubber hose

Hi guys

I am new around here. I am setting up new tank and just wondering which way to connect the plumbing for the tank. Please give me some ideas in regard to which type of plumbing parts to use, PVC or Eheim hose?

But to answer your question... either type of plumbing is fine... they both work great. All depends on preference and your handy man skills.... if handy then pvc, if not so handy then plastic rubber hose.

What I mean was the flow rates, will it be better for one type when compare to each other?

just remember every 90 degree elbow is like 1 ft of head when using PVC piping. Rubber will have a smoother flow with twist and turns.
