Is there a way to keep PVC pipes down without using rocks? My CLown Knife loves to hide in them but scratches the hell out of himself. And as he gets larger, he still squeezes through the rock inside the pipe.

mine stay down fine without having to put anything on top of them to hold them down

Sounds more like ABS pipe than PVC. White PVC pipes and fitting sink with no problem. Black ABS pipe floats but, ABS fittings sink easily.

For anyone wondering:

PVC - polyvinyl chloride

ABS - acrylonitrile butadiene styrene

Thanks Oddball! That makes sense. I do have black pipes. So they must be ABS pipes.

If you want to use the pipes you have silicone a couple rocks to the outside of the bottom of the pipe.

Ive never had any trouble Sinking PVC I know ABS pipe floats but norm PVC sinks like a stone.
