PVC sheets

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When I got to any good size dimension it deformed too much and the seams popped. Bracing helped but got ugly.

Kinda pricey too.

I used clear PVC pipe to make fluidized bed filters and fractionators 10 years ago, they are still in service today on my tanks.

Wonder if using regular white PVC sheets for the bottom, back and sides of a tank would cut the cost a bit?

Now I'm no pro at building acrylic tanks, but this is what I believe this would work and it's much cheaper (need some confirmation on it working)

of course you would have to see if they ship to Canada, but price wise this is much better. Here is a second page that allows u to pick the sizes u need

Holy crap man, that looks like some kind of mining/chemistry experiment. WTF is going on there?

PVC is mroe flexible than acrylic and not as strong. If you're looking for a cost effective alternative for sides and back of a tank, use plywood.

Dude!....Its my fish cave. And actually, it looks more like the inside of the cargo ship after "alien" takes over if you get the full vista. Got the sounds too.
