My husband and I are setting up a co2 injection system in my 150 gallon fresh water tank. We want to make the co2 reactor for the tank out of PVC but are unable to find all the end fittings we need. He was able to find what we need in ABS. Our question is. Is ABS safe to use? We were unable to find out the difference between the two other than the wall thickness.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

It will be fine.

What fitting can't he find?

What reactor design are you using?

Well we got it done. My husband bought a Mag Drive pump model 7 to run the whole thing. We were going to have it go through the canister filter but my husband was afraid it would restrict the flow to much. The one thing that we haven't figured out yet is how to keep the pump quite. Right now we have it hanging with a bungee cord. Here are a few pics.
