PVOH Bags for Carp/Catfish etc US

I have a question.(A couple)

I know that the EU boys use PVOH bags for tossing bait to carp.

Is anyone using this in the US?
Who are the manufacturers of PVOH bags?
What is the cost?

Lastly, are there any large Carp Tournements in the US this year that attract international contestants?

i just use a tennis ball thrower for spreading chum when catfishing works great just try to use dryer chum.

My interest is actually in the manufacturing of the bags themselves. I will give them a shot fishing, but I want to get a feel for if people are using them here in the US.
