I have 3 piraya and one of them changed color from yellow to really pale white. Any ideas why?

Not sure. Maybe it’s stressed from the other piranhas. Water quality good?

most likely its your water parameters at the moment but I love your pirayas...excellent body shape. that's definitely a male. usually the females have rounder stomachs and male pygos look sleeker body shape wise.

Nice fish, it’s seems Piranha have taken a dip in popularity since a decade ago..

What’s the tank?

Not much activity here, the other forum seems very quiet...

Very nice looking fish though, debating on if I’m gonna get Pygocentrus again...

Thanks for sharing!

on the bright side, if ever it stayed pale white for good, you'll have an uber rare albino piraya with an excellent body structure.
