Pygos ate 16 neon tetras

I flooded my tank with 20 tetra neons, thinking they were small enough for the pygos (pirayas, tern) to ignore.. Woke up this morning with 4 hiding in one corner and the other 16 missing....:(

Man... any living organism that enters a pygo tank sooner or later will be devoured...

It doenst matter how fast other fish are, it is just a matter of time. The day less expected pygos will nail it.

Neo's barras also devoured neons but danios seem to fare better...maybe your next try? ;)

Does anybody know if their is anything wrong with feeding white cloud minnows? Because I was thinking about trying white cloud minnows. Are they cypronids? Supposedly they overpopulate a tank quickly because they breed quickly but don't eat their own young.

edit: first side I googled, they are cypronids. That means they're bad feeders. So much for that eyedea..
