Just got my first python and I did 50% water changes on all my tanks just for fun! I'm lucky I have no chorline in my water, but even if I did I'm sure it would still be better than lugging buckets around.

Are you sure there's no chlorine or chloramines in your water? Is it well water? Pretty much any water coming out of your faucet in the US have one or the other. It can be a costly mistake and all your good bacteria can die off.

Well water yes. It's pretty hard, but so is most of the water around here anyway, so it makes for a longer acclimation when I first buy the fish, but other than that there aren't really any major problems.

I was wondering, does my tap have to be a certain shape for python to work? I live in Australia...so could some1 kindly tell me, is it worth buying? My tap is a bit fat lol and one is a bit skinny?
