I'm going to have to replace my kitchen faucet for again. Over time, the connect and disconnect of the python once a week apparently has caused the lower joint of my long neck kitchen faucet to loose up and caused water leaks. This is the second one after may be 3 years. I installed the same one for my parents at the same time, but theirs is still good as new. I'm going to use the closest half bath's faucet from now on even though it's farther compared to kitchen's. It's a bathroom sink faucet, shorter and hence much sturdier.
Hope this will steer someone else away from doing the same.
