I've gone through 3 of them (sink adapters) and I keep running into the same problem. After a few months of use, the adapter wont close all the way and I have a powerful stream of water shooting out the bottom while its on the fill position. It's cutting my fill rate in half and wasting a ton of water. Anyone found a way to fix or mod this?

i have a kinda similar problem
wher the little clamp thingy where the hose connects to the python, well it keeps on falling off no matter what i do and causes me to waste a bunch of water. and the hose wont stay on no matter what i do
:[

so im just going to order a new one

Get a new one..

Make sure you don't use too much pressure when draining, let the natural syphon do most the work.

Everytime you 'lock it into place' for filling, make sure it is well-locked and twisted into place.

I had this problem too, but I noticed it was from thrashing the unit from running the drain water at full blast.. Which I think drained slower than allowing a natural syphon to take place. I figured it out because the low-pressure sink at work has had the same adapter hookup for 3 years.

Mine will leak where you attach it to sink after a few uses. The cause is the piece under the adapter is threaded in the opposite direction and will loosen up. Every so often reach inside and tighten, no more problem.
