Q about food and appetite of annectens

Hi dear guys
My P. annectens only eat in the morning the food that I offer its around 9 inch,is it normal ? I have him around 1 weak seems is healthy
I heard that they have good appetite and eat like a pig but mine only eat a piece of its food and chewing it a lot I also test smooth chicken parts as food and my LF chewing it alot but eat his food but not so much that I thought
The food that I serve him consists frozen mixed beefheart and shrimp is it suitable food for my ALF?
 
in the evening I served frozen blood worm and my lungfish ate them lol

the chewing is normal with lungfish, give it some time..and it will start to eat more and more and more and more and more and more more...

what are the best foods for health and boosting in growth rate of AFL ?
 
I feed mine 2x per day....in the evening and in the morning..in the morning I feed Hikari Algae waffers and in the evening fish or shrimp...I try to feed so much so they finish all at once...so without taking a break from eating...if they leave someting I just take it out.

I'm trying out a new schedule I try to feed them half the amount of food for a week and the next week the full amount.
And see how this works out...I don't want to over feed them...but I do want try and grow them to the max size.
This has somehow always been a goal with me when I'm keeping fish...try to get them as big as possible..
