Is there any type of filter to add on a water hose for water changes??

Using the sink is way to long and now that I'm getting a 300gl Friday, my water changes will be bigger.

Does anyone have a way they do water changes with out having to put water in a container over night to get most of the copper out??

Thanks:D

I assume you mean leaving water in a container overnight to let the chlorine dissipate, as copper will not be removed by standing.

Get a Python and use Prime as suggested above....

Burt:)

Get a python or make one yourself, and add prime or another water conditioner (you can't beat prime for the price) as you fill it up.

Or you can make a drip system, where water is being added and taken away continuously, so you don't have to do water changes.

I use Prime.

I want to buy a GATF, but dont want to loose him to water changes...
I got plants in my sump to break down the bad water, I do 40-50% H2o changes every 4days (atleast with the 150 that I'm getting rid of on Friday)
and just want something better to do water changes with (cant do an automatic water changer right now:grinno: $$$) but something more in expensive.
I was wondering if there is any kind of Drinking water purifier (like at Home Depot or something) that you can attatch to a water hose to filter the running water. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing????????

Going to have to call The Home Depot (even thou most of them dont care to give you good info:irked:)
