Somewhere you cant find me....
Just a few quick questions. There is a red asian at my lfs which is about 17cm (roughly) and he is beautiful!! After i come back from Japan i will be getting my tank for my two ornates which is 120longx75widex45high cm. I haven't calculated the liters yet but is this OK for him until I get my HUGE(220x75x75) tank this time next year? What kind of care do they require?

it will be ok if the filter works well..your tank is quite wide compared with those 120cm(my 120cm tank is only 50cm wide), remember not to feed too much or the color wont be good as it grows too fast!

i would advice you to do some more research, asians are not hard to keep but they are a special breed to fall in love with. i think your tank is fine, but upgrading as soon as possible would be best. we could give more advices, but reading more about these fishes in this site and other arowana club sites in the net would do you much better help. good luck

:iagree: aro is not very hard to keep, but it's hard to make your aro a brilliant fish.
