It's ok for them to eat pellets (if they will) but they also need a healthy diet of crustaceons.

Thanks for the link but how long does it usually take to reach full adult size. Mine is currently about 1.5" fat and happy. It's mainly fed on krill,market shrimp,and silversides.
It's in with my scats,monos,columbians,and g tile sg .016. Is this sg to high for the puffer. It seems fine i accimilated from fresh to this sg in about 2 hours. It's been in this tank now for 3 weeks and seems fine.
