QT-ing feeders for cichla

How do you guys QT your feeders. I never fed any of my fishes feeders till now. Want to start QT-ing them so they won't get any diseases. Thanks

just like other fish..add a lil salt or some melafix for a couple days.

I keep new batches of feeders in a ten gallon tank for a week with coppersafe or aquarasol in the water.They are also fed twice daily to fatten them up.

i suggest using non-live foods!

that is my goal to cause i feel bad feeding them to the bass but the conversion guide said to fatten the cichla up to 5-6 inches. So i still have a couple of months to go.
