QT'ing new loaches:

How feasible is it for one to QT 8-10 young and small loaches in a 10gallon? Increased water changes a must, and I am planning on picking up a second filter this morning as well. They'll be getting moved to a 75gallon after QT period. Just need to know that the 10gallon is ok for that number.

Should be fine for a couple weeks. Better than no QT at all.

Ok good deal. Picked up 8 x Striata and they are all about 2" or so right now. Picked up a AC20 and put on the 10g with the other topfin thing that was on there. They seem to be acclimating well and are checking things out pretty casually.

10 gals. is fine. May have to keep an eye on parms., but it will work for a QT period. I use a 15 gal. for all my QT/Meds. tank.
