Quality of the Rena smart heater

I'm planning to get one of these. Was wondering, how is the quality and do you think the heater will last a long time?

IMO, Rena are only good if you use it together with the rena canister filter.

It is built to heat water in the inner core. So if you just get it alone, there would be poor distribution of heat as all the heat is trapped inside, leading to poor heating efficiency.

For a standalone heater, I recommand Eheim jager

Considering that all heaters have there flaws. I would go with Eheim, Vis Therm, and recently I tried a Aquaen and so far I am very pleased with it.
