Thats one thing I would not skimp on. Unless you are treating the quarantine pool and scope all the fish several times I would wait at least 5-6 weeks. Some people suggest even longer. One issue on a stressed fish may not show up for several weeks and then wipe out your whole pond. Many people including myself have learned the hard way.

Also nice fish, the last platinum is very nice.

4+ weeks at least.

Thank you for the input.IN the past ive added fish right away but now my big guys are 4yrs and about 14 inches+.Too big to take a chance,One of my friends and I were just talking about you and your beautiful handy work.We both work for ups and chris is a member of your reef club.

Cool. The reef has pulled me to the dark side and away form the pond, but there is something about a pond. Do you have any pictures of yours?

I didn't quarantine either then adding some 3" koi wiped out some of my nicer fish. Very heartbreaking.

Where did you get your fish from?

Well believe it or not I purchased the fish on ebay. The group of five came from (ebay store names) Kikokurio and for a ridiculous bid of 31.05.Consequently the next day everything on his site went to fixed bids or buy it now.The other three from (the painted pond). Both say they are breeders, fish appear to be very healthy want to eat all the time.both gentleman packaged very professionally and both are located in NC.gonna send some pics.
