i was wondering for those who home grow their feeders do you still quarantine them before feeding?

i know its a must to quarantine store bought feeders but should this be a precaution as well for home grown?

If nothing new is introduced then theres no need to Q. them, just gutload and feed...

Quarantine is mainly for when you introduce a fish from an outside source into your tanks. It is possible that one of your tanks may have a pathogen that the other does not, so you might want to keep an eye on that.

no need to QT if all your home-grown fish are healthy and you haven't added any new stock to the tank. if you do have a health problem in the feeder tank, wait for 3-4 weeks of health before using them as feeders again (so if your feeders got fungus and you treated it, start counting from the first day all symptoms have disappeared).
