Just set this up on my quarantine tank. I bought a pothos and prayer plant, a clear shower caddy, drilled some holes in the bottom, sanded the holes to remove sharp edges, put a layer of Seachem Matrix along the bottom with a bag of Matrix on top of that, then arranged the plants around the caddy after cleaning up their roots. I then placed an air stone below the caddy to promote water flow through the Matrix and plant roots.
I know the pothos will be fine, but I am trying out the prayer plant to see how it does with its roots submerged. I'll update this in a few weeks to show the progress.
