With my big tank construction soon to be over, I've started thinking about moving the fish to the tank. I don't want to risk contaminating the big tank with any bacterial or parasite problems that may be lurking in my existing tanks. I've noticed lately that the fish in the 210 have been fin flicking and itching against the substrate.

What's your suggestions for large scale fish quarantine? Which medications do you use and swear buy (not at)?

Praziquantel is one of the things that is always practical for flukes and intestinal worms. Kanamycin or tetracycline (effectivity varies with pH) for bacterial issues. Dimilin or trichlorfon for external parasites. Metronidazole for digestive issues, mostly bloat. Salt (sodium chloride) and iodine solution or hydrogen peroxide are miscellaneous for ich and wounds respectively.
