quarantine tank size

Would a 20gal long be sufficient to quarantine a 12" ornate bichir? This will be my first Polypterus. I'll be getting her in the next few days just want to have the proper size QT ready. Thanks

YES...my 20 Gal QT curerntly housed an 18" teugelsi, 12" delhezi and 10" weeksii. It's cramped, but I can do 10G water changes every other day in 5 minutes. This will cut down the cost on your QT or hospital meds regiment too..I use jungle parasite clear on all new fish.
