Quarantining live bearers...resetting the time?

I have a small tank of live bearers, and as with any other new fish I quarantine new purchases.

I recently acquired some females that were visibly pregnant when they arrived in the mail, and one has given birth during quarantine. Does the arrival of the fry mean I need to reset the quarantine time? Or would that be irrelevant, since they should have exposure identical to the mother?

I wouldn't think that you should have to reset the QT time

You shouldn't have to QT a fry as long as the host was treated properly.......

Since she had them in quarantine and they are newly formed fish with little chance of carrying disease, you ought to be fine carrying through with the timeline you had planned before.
