Query regarding Zonatus

How would you guys rate the aggression on a Zonatus? Are they fine in a community setup or as they grow larger they need to be kept alone ?

Highly aggressive from what ive seen once they get 6". Males anyway.

I have one, breeds with my female Fen. He is just as aggressive as the rest of the tank mates.

How aggressive do they get when breeding ?

When I had a pair start to spawn in a 100 gal 6 ft tank, I removed all other fish to save their lives, but then without others to vent their heightened spawning aggression hormones, the female took out the male, and quickly ate the eggs.
Think I would have been better off adding a divider.
