How long were you with your wife/husband before you knew in your heart that she was the one and only one for you?

I was right, ooh I was so right...and six kids after the event, she still rebuilds me from scratch whenever.....
My husband was my very first boyfriend. Throughout highschool i had crushes and guys would ask me out, but i would never go out with anyone. I just had this wierd feeling that they werent for me. I only wanted to go out with someone if I was seriously going to consider them as a potential husband.
I went out with Daniel when I got out of highschool and the first time I saw him it certainly was NOT love at first sight.
He was shorter than me, and was only wearing excersize pants when I first saw him.
But this little voice inside me told me to keep at it and get to know him.
After about 6 months I knew he was the one and a year 1/2 later we were engaged.
We've been married 6 years this weekend and have a son 7 months old. I know in my heart we'll be together until we're old and decrepid.
