start out with atleast 150 gal grow out till it reaches about 6 inches and then the bigger the better !!!
they'll reach 30 inches easily in an aquarium...
mines about 14-15 inches right now and has slowed down a bit...

once adult, i think u could get away with a 1k gallon aquarium. there not really like rtc's.
i have mine in a 150 for now, movin him to my 400 when he's big enough. had him since january i believe and it has grown from 1.5" to about 7" now

My guy is about 14" now and he's in a 265. TSN are alot more active than RTC's and need more swimming space. I imagine when my guy reaches about the 24" mark its gonna need to be moved. Mine isnt that skittish like most others I've had, he's real mellow. Maybe I can keep him in this tank a little longer...... until I eat him

got mine in a 240gl right now. he's about 18in nose to tail. great fish, really mellow. will eventually go in a tank the size of johnptc has his pimas in when i buy my parents home.
