I have a new 125 gallon tank it has a red devil a cuban cichlid a red wolf and a delhezi bichir and a midas i was wondering if i would be able to fit a pike in there or not. or would it be to over crowed or no

The Midas would be an iffy one.. I have a few and they are REALLY aggressive, and they are all sizes ranging from 3" to 8" or so, and they've picked on everything.
Also, even without the midas, you're pike would get too big. I wouldn't get it unless you plan on upgrading to a 160 or more. I'd only put him in a 125 if he was alone..

I'd say you're already overstocked as it is if you plan on keeping all those fish in there for life. So to answer your question, I'd hold off on the pike.

well i am thinking about getten rid of the midas so if i get rid of the midas do you guys think a pike would work or no. I dont want to get rid of the red devil because he eats right out of my hand just like my wolf too and the cuban is just something you dont see much of in my area i live in

yea true as of right now tho he is in with the cuban cichlid that is only 2 in and the red devil is about 5 to 6 in. when does the red devil start getten really aggressive and is it the same way with the midas or should i get rid of both and get some other aggressive fish in place of those 2

I figured that they were still small. You have three cichlids that are known to grow large and aggressive, especially the Red Devil. The reason they are fine now is because they are small enough to have space and a bit too young for their aggression to show. A 125 isn't a really big tank considering the size and temperment of the fish that you have. At around 5" you will start to notice a change in their behavior. This is when the fights will happen. These cichlids can be kept together but IMO a 125 is too small to keep them together peacefully. If you remove the Midas and red Devil, take the time to research any other cichlids that you may consider as replacements. You have to consider their adult size and behavior. I wouldn't add anything else. You should just let these grow out and see which will work. Then go from there. You may have to lose a few fish until you get it right. And there are many Pike Cichlids. Some grow to only a few inches while others grow to a foot or more. Their behavior and requirements differ too. You have to research the species that you want before adding it to your tank. As it is now I wouldn't add anymore. A Midas, Red devil, Cuban, Delhezi, and Red Wolf are already too much for a long-term stock. If you want to add something to make up the empty space while your stock is small, try some Giant Danios or some barbs.
