Question about a five gallon tank

I'm setting up a couple five gallon panted tanks for a couple male Betta's and I was wondering if I could put a dwarf frog with him. I put 5 ghost shrimp in each of their tanks but the shrimp today were all dying... so I have at least two dead in each of those tanks already. They seem to do fine with the living ones though. I wanted to put a Dwarf frog in there but I don't want to do so if the tank is too small.

i am sure you could put one of those african clawed frogs in there and they would be fine

Not a clawed frog. Those get soft ball sized.

how big do the frogs you want to keep in the tank get?

The dwarf ones I think get max of 1.5 inches with the females getting 2 inches.

I don't see why not as long as the tank is warm enough

It would be in a heated and filtered tank. the "coldest" tank is 76.
