Question about a flordia gars

I have two flordia gars one three years old and the othe almost two.
Lately I noticed spots starting on the older ones stomach and lower jaw.
Thier not sick spot, they match his coloring, just wondering if its a sign of maturity.
The last photo is of my younger one.
