hi guys! was wondering if it is safe for an acrylic tank to sit in a smaller stand? i see a lot of set ups with a smallet stand than the tank.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

No, acrylic tanks need to be on a completely flat surface that'll support all of the tank. If you go with a stand that does otherwise, the tank is going to bust a leak due to uneven pressure and will eventually burst.

I woudn't take the chance on any tank on a smaller stand... especially for acrylic as apparently if the tank isnt on a flat surface it eventually "bows"...maybe with cheap companies tha thappens? IDK however I strongly advise not to try...
