Question about adding sand ????

Hey guys I have my 75 gallon African cichlid tank set up with plain white sand from petco and just picked up some of the caribsea African cichld sand ..... My question is can I add the new sand slowly to my tank without having to remove the fish ?

You should have no problem adding Sand. Just make sure you clean it prior or it will cloud the water, and turn your filter/s off.

Yeah was defiantly going to turn the fillter off , ok cool thanks for the help , just wasn't sure how it might affect the fish
