I was doing a water change today and saw the air Pumps I never use. I decided to install it. I have a 90 gallon with a 13" FLG. I was wondering what the pros and cons are of randomly adding this. Will the change in air change my fishes attitude or anything. What are any affects...

If your just running a small air stone it will add more oxygen into the tank. It could also move around debris that could get sucked into the filter. If you want to add a little more to it you can spend a few bucks and get a sponge filter. Deep blue makes one and the biggest is about ten dollars. It would add biological and mechanical filtration to the tank which is always great

I went out and bought the only thing I could find... I had to cut it for it to fit. What do you think... Will it work?,uploadfromtaptalk1361313285922.jpguploadfromtaptalk1361313303025.jpguploadfromtaptalk1361313321201.jpg

You made it sound like it went on a filter haha well it can't really hurt there either... But with this other "sponge filter" where do I set it up?

U just put the airstone down the tube to the bottom then just set the filter on the substrate where ever u like. One of these airstones should work perfectFree-shopping-10pcs-13-25mm-BLUE-Aquarium-oxygen-diffuser-Air-diffuser-Bubble-stone-Corundum-Air.jpg
